Let's keep lifting each other up in our local communities!

From Deb at Cross Agency in Meredith, NH!

"I would like to have one of our employees, Nicole Brunt, Personal Lines Agent for Cross Ins. in Meredith, be recognized for her son's contribution to the Meredith Food Pantry.  He wanted to donate his $20 cash he earned doing chores to the Meredith Food Pantry to help others less fortunate.  His parents matched the $20 donation and together they bought $40 worth of food for the pantry.  When Nicole posted this on Facebook, it exploded and became an instant success.

He was featured on WMUR, twice.  First for raising $850, the second time he had raised over $1,600.  The final tally this week was over $3,000.  They presented a check to the Meredith Food Pantry for $2,150 and purchased groceries with the remaining money.  This 10 year old became quite a celebrity.  He wanted to help others in need. Cross Insurance is contributing $500 and MMG Insurance has offered a $500 donation too.

Congratulations to the Brunt family.  A valuable lesson learned from a 10 year old!"
