Licensing Information

To apply for a NH Producer license:
NHAIA offers two ways to help you pass the NH licensing exam:
  1. Pre-Licensing Review Classes for Property & Casualty
    • upon registration and payment for the class, the Licensing Set study materials will be shipped to you
    • see NHAIA's calendar for dates and registration
  2. Self-Study for Property & Casualty and Life & Health and Adjusters
    • upon payment, the Licensing Set study materials will be shipped to you
    • studying is done on your own at your own pace
    • see the Pre-Licensing Material Order form to order the Licensing Set and supplemental study material
  3. NEW!  Pre-Licensing preparation for Life, Accident & Health exam via a webinar program
    • upon payment, the Life, Accident & Health licensing set will be shipped to you
    • webinar links will be sent to you via email along with handouts
    • review of the webinars, textbook & handouts are done on your own at your own pace
    • webinars can be viewed more than once

Other important information:
  • New licensees will be given the 24 hours of continuing education for passing NH's licensing exam that will be utilized at the time of their first renewal.
  • For Property & Casualty licensees:  within one year of obtaining the license, a new licensee must successfully complete 3 hours of FEMA approved flood education.  See NHAIA's calendar for upcoming Flood classes.

Supplemental study materials for Property & Casualty and Life & Health:
  • Exam Simulator ($50)
    • an on-line program that provides 12 simulated exams and review questions for each topic
  • PASS Prep Workbook with Exam Simulator ($100)
    • combines the exam simulator and a workbook to assist in the studying process
  • Order Form
  • Find out how many credits you have
  • Find out how many credits you need to be compliant
  • Your credits need to be completed by the end of your compliance period, which is 60 days prior to the expiration of your license
 
  • License renewals can only be completed once your Compliance Period has ended (your Compliance Period ends 60 days prior to the expiration of your license)
  • License renewals need to be completed online through NIPR (National Insurance Producer Registry)

  • Your license will not be mailed to you
  • Once you have renewed your license and your payment has been approved, you will be able to print your license
